Dr Eduard Deacon is a General Practitioner in Bloemfontein in the Free State Province. He believes in a holistic and balanced approach towards health and sickness and is keenly interested in paediatrics, infectious diseases, sports injuries and managing chronic conditions – especially diabetes. His practice is known for effective time management of consultations, and he strives to be on time for his patients. He has 21 years of experience as a medical doctor and has done more than 100 000 consultations.

After working in Ireland in accident and emergency care in 2006, he established his private practice in 2007. In 2013, he relocated his practice from Kroonstad to Bloemfontein. Dr Deacon decided to venture into private practice as he has the privilege of having access to some of the very best medical care in the world in the private sector in South Africa.

From a young age, he realised he had a calling in life to help people find or restore balance in body, mind, and soul. Being a GP allows him to act out this calling daily.Dr Deacon graduated top 10 in the medical class of 2003 at the University of the Free State with distinctions in Psychiatry and Obstetrics & Gynaecology. He has worked in various accident and emergency centres in Bloemfontein.

Dr Deacon is passionate about treating his patients from infancy to senior patients and building a precious relationship of trust as a Family Physician with them.
